Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. in partnership with MCO Construction, Inc., MAGBE Consulting Services, Inc. and the City of Miami/Capital Improvements Program (CIP) Office will be hosting a Prebid Event for all Potential Bidders and Certified Small Business Enterprise (CSBE) Contractors to provide information on upcoming project opportunities related to the construction of the Marlins Stadium Site Parking Project. The event will provide your firm with information regarding City of Miami’s CSBE process if you should require technical assistance as well as information about the City of Miami’s “Miami Works” program that provides assistance and training to unemployed skilled tradepeople and places these individuals with prequalified contracting firms. Prime Subcontractor’s will be required to prequalify. Prequalification submission is due to Suffolk at 80 SW 8th Street, Suite 2710, Miami, Fl 33130 by 5:00PM on February 18, 2010. Prequalification forms will be available at this meeting as well as from the contact information at the bottom of this invitation. Suffolk Construction anticipates having all contractors hired and ready to break ground by the summer of 2010. The City of Miami has set a strict construction schedule in order to meet the Marlins opening day scheduled for 2012 and this project must be completed by December 31, 2011.

Bids from prequalified contractors will be due to Suffolk at 80 SW 8th Street, Suite 2710, Miami, Fl 33130 before 2:00 pm on March 23, 2010. Suffolk Construction Company and its partners are committed to exceeding the CSBE/CWP goals mandated by the City of Miami for the construction of this project.
